I earned my M.S. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. After completing my graduate training, I completed a one-year pre-doctoral internship at Metropolitan State University's Counseling Center where I helped students with a range of emotional issues, life transitions, relationship problems, substance abuse, and trauma.
In addition to intensive training in psychotherapy, my graduate studies focused on psychological testing and evaluation. I have experience evaluating a range of cognitive, emotional, and learning disorders. This background provides my clinical work with a thorough understanding of personality functioning and diagnostic issues. Last but not least, I value humor in my professional work. Therapy isn't always a picnic; a good laugh is never unwelcome and can help make an otherwise difficult process more enjoyable.
